Story
Hi! I am Liv, a marine biology master's student studying at James Cook University, Australia. Ever since I was little, I have always been passionate about protecting our oceans and all of the animals who call the ocean their home. If you know me, you know my mission is to leave every day at the beach a cleaner place than when I found it... and that I can't sit still. Since I moved to Australia and picked up running as a hobby, I realized how I can combine my greatest passion of ocean conservation with my newfound hobby of running.
I am currently training for my first marathon in November 2025 while fundraising for Take 3 For The Sea. On every run in my training, I will pick up 3 pieces of plastic to raise awareness about plastic pollution and highlight how small actions can make a big difference. My goal is to inspire others to do the same in their own way. This could mean through donations, picking up your own 3 pieces of plastic, or making more sustainable choices.
Your support in this journey means the world to me and all of the beautiful ocean animals. Every dollar raised goes directly to Take 3 For The Sea to help protect our oceans through education, advocacy, and community programs.
